Are you interested in learning about self-advocacy?

Are you a person with disability aged 15 years or over?

Our free Self-Advocacy weekend course will be held over two consecutive Saturday afternoons 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Citiplace Community Centre.

Session 1: March 6, 2021

• Understand your rights and the different types of advocacy

• Learn the key steps to becoming a successful self-advocate

Session 2: March 13 , 2021

• Explore ways to communicate and how to be more assertive

• Share real experiences and learn from others
