Speed date the collection

Our informal Speed date the Collection night is
an opportunity for the community to ‘meet’
artists’ books from the Collection in an
enjoyable way. Participants will become familiar
with artists’ books held in the Mackay Regional
Council Art Collection in a social, interactive
context.
How it works: Six artists’ books, six volunteers
and ten minutes to experience an initial spark of
interest, attraction and connection to an
artwork - or not as the case may be!
Following standard speed dating rules
participants rotate to ‘meet’ each artists’ book
For
those who want to spend more time with the
artwork, a booking can be made for the Tate
Adams Reading Pod at a later date.
