The Ambo Gallery
64-68 Johnston St, Wagga Wagga
Ken Eustace will talk about and invite questions on the writing, researching, publishing and promoting of his fascinating book, 'The Life and Legacy of A.W. Eustace', which tells the story of his great-grandfather, Alfred William Eustace (1820–1907), colonial artist, shepherd, bush observer, musician, poet, and taxidermist, whose distinctive paintings on eucalyptus leaves capture the spirit of nineteenth-century north-east Victoria and the Australian bush. Ken will read some of A. W. E's poetry.
Ken Eustace is Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Charles Sturt University with over 34 years of experience in research, academic publishing, and professional writing, including for a while, a regular column on IT matters in The Daily Advertiser. His publication history includes peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, and scholarly research outputs. 'The Life and Legacy of A. W. Eustace' extends his ability to work in the new horizons of archival research, heritage studies, and family history.
We'll have our usual Open Mic - in which you are all warmly invited to participate.
