About
For our morning lecture Joanne Rhymer's topic is "Post-Impressionism (Seurat and Van Gogh) and Vuillard. The lecture is made up of two parts: "Vuillard and the Reinvention of home" and "How to Look Slowly: Post-Impressionism," which will be separated by morning tea. Seurat and Van Gogh produced extraordinary art - Van Gogh marvelling at Seurat's "fresh revelation of colour". Vuillard created exquisite, small-scale, richly patterned depictions of domestic interiors.
