About

Welcome to our first morning lecture for 2026, presented by Joanne Rhymer in two parts - 'Vuillard and the Reinvention of Home' then 'How to Look Slowly: Post-Impressionism', held at and conveniently separated by morning tea in the comfort of the Apollo International Hotel Charlestown with an easy access lift available.

While Vuillard created exquisite small-scale richly patterned domestic interiors, the examination of the works of Seurat and Van Gogh invites slow attentive viewing to appreciate how both artists produced extraordinary, pioneering art, each making remarkable contributions to modern art through distinctive experimental approaches.
