Cowra Eisteddfod

The Cowra Eisteddfod is a major regional performing arts competition in Central West New South Wales, now running for over 70 years. It typically spans several weeks in May and June, drawing talent from across the state and beyond. Dance: Features solo and group performances, including ballet, tap, and modern styles. Speech & Drama: Competitive sections for public speaking, monologue, and performance. Music: Includes vocal and instrumental categories, such as piano and various orchestral instruments. The Grand Concert occurs at the Cowra Civic Centre, which showcases selected prize winners and major scholarship recipients.
