Tom Gibson (MC)
Tom Gibson is a comedy renegade who’s been blasting his way across Australia for more than a decade, leaving comedy rooms in tatters and audiences rolling on the floor in hysterics. He’s performed stand-up comedy in comedy clubs and festivals across Australia, including at the Canberra Theatre, Sydney Comedy Store, Melbourne Town Hall and Brisbane Sit-Down Comedy Club, and recently delivered sell-out shows at the Sydney Fringe Festival and Canberra Comedy Festival. Join Tom as he delves into the shallowest of topics to uncover the least meaningful insights in the most unnecessarily animated ways possible.
Carlo Ritchie (30-minute headline)
Carlo is a comedian, actor and writer, based right here in the Nation’s capital. He’s appeared on The Cheap Seats, Thank God You’re Here and the community notice board at Chisholm. As a stand-up he’s performed extensively, from London to Lanyon and everywhere in between. A resident of the valley, he is delighted to finally be able share his many thoughts on Tuggeranong with an audience who actually know where Erindale is.
Harris Stuckey
Harris Stuckey is a comedian who appears, at first, to be doing very little, and that’s by design. Relaxed and understated, he draws audiences in through sharp observations on everyday life. Effortless, engaging, and consistently funny, leaving audiences with the sense they’ve seen something both extremely stupid and refreshingly different.
Chris Ryan
Chris Ryan’s relatable comedy points out the hilarious absurdities of life and the fact that largely, we’re all imbeciles. If you like your humour with a big dose of uncomfortable truths, you’re in the right place. A multi-award winner at the biggest and most prestigious comedy and arts festivals in Australia, including Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival, Chris has had a meteoric rise in the past five years, cementing herself as a household name in Australian comedy.
Bec Des
Bec is a self-described fake Indian, but the world around her only seems to want her to be Indian. Over 30. Divorced. No kids. No property…she thinks we can guess what her parents think about that. Bec’s storytelling and quick wit is honest. There will be chuckles and audible gasps as you navigate ‘modern Australia’ with Bec.
Marie Anagnostis
Marie hails from the North…of Canberra. As a born and bred local you will see in the flesh what it looks like to have never been employed by the public service, providing the perfect platform for comedy/unemployment. Marie is an observational storyteller with a hint of darkness as she navigates the cost-of-living crisis as a non-public servant either elbow deep in bin-juice (hospo) or sweat (fitness industry). Marie is a 2-time RAW Comedy finalist and author of book “12 hours in the life of a fitness professional (because I’m too tired for the other 12)”. Expect to a good laugh…or push-ups
