SALA Festival – Exhibition Name: Creatures of Art Artist: Alessia Facini The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is a state-wide festival of Visual Art. Join us during the month of August where we showcase local artwork as part of the 2019 SALA festival. The Colonist is an avid supporter of local and emerging artists. That being said, we are excited to be bringing a new, fresh artist to this years SALA festival. In 2019, we bring you a unique exhibition with pencil drawings by Alessia Facini – a cross between realism and her own expression. Alessia is a self-taught Adelaide based artist who’s artwork ranges from; pencil, pen, ink and watercolour based illustrations. She has a passion for native Australian animals which you will see through her artwork displayed at The Colonist. Furthermore, Alessia will be exhibiting “Creatures of Art” for the 2019 SALA festival.
