About
Riverlights Multicultural Festival will return to Central Maitland this October for what is becoming the most exciting community event in the Hunter.
Celebrating diversity through food, music, dance and interactive experiences, Riverlights transforms Central Maitland into a global village. Visitors can see, taste, feel and experience the different cultures being demonstrated.
The program will include a range of activities such as live music, dancing, language classes, lantern making and cooking demonstrations.
Riverlights really shines at night, with spectacular fire shows, a festival lantern parade and the iconic paper lantern flotilla, where hundreds of paper lanterns are floated down the Hunter River, a truly memorable spectacle.
Riverlights is a family friendly, alcohol free, community event, held in The Levee, Central Maitland.
