Daffodil Day - Green Hills

For 40 years, Australians have come together on Daffodil Day to support life-saving cancer research and improve the lives of people affected by cancer. This year, Cancer Council is aiming to raise $5.5 million nationally to fund vital research, prevention programs and support services. The Newcastle and Hunter community is invited to support Daffodil Day by visiting one of two Cancer Council stalls on Thursday 20 August at Westfield Kotara or Stockland Greenhills. Every purchase and donation helps fund research that brings us closer to a future free from cancer while supporting local people impacted by the disease. With almost 1 in 2 Australians expected to be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, every dollar raised makes a real difference. If you can't make it to a stall, donations can also be made online to help support Cancer Council's vital work.
