Relay For Life is a global movement that brings communities together to celebrate cancer survivorship, remember loved ones lost and fight back against cancer. Teams of friends, families and colleagues raise money in the lead up to an overnight event, where team members take turns walking around a track to signify that cancer never rests, so neither do they. Organised by passionate, local volunteers, each Relay event is an experience that will stay with you forever. They honour those lost during the candlelight ceremony, and continue to raise funds to support people affected by cancer, fund research and improve cancer prevention.
