Dan Barnett and his Amazing 14 piece Big Band

Singer Trombonist and Shellman Dan Barnett and his amazing 14 piece big band headline at Lazybones on the third Wednesday of every month. With the enviable reputation as a musician and band leader Dan is constantly touring Australia and the world. In the last 12 months he has played the Havana Jazz Festival in Cuba and Sancy Snow Jazz in France. The band plays tunes from their four studio albums and draws on Dan's huge big band repertoire from the 1930's to the present day. The bands sets are always changing, expect to hear examples of swing, latin, boogaloo, funk and a bunch of juicy treats they'd be hard pressed to categorise.
