Willow Weaving - Weave your own Miniature Piglet

In this 2.5 hour workshop with Penny Kerr you will learn: About harvesting willow and its history of use in woven forms; basic willow weaving techniques and how to apply them to different shapes; and how to weave onto an existing frame template, creating a visually striking piece specific to your interests. Each participant will take home a substantial decorative handmade woven form, for display in the house or garden, and woven using locally sourced willow. Introductory class suitable for beginners.
