About

WSU's multiple telescopes can show you numerous interesting night sky objects which are up on the night, including the Moon, planets, nebulae and galaxies. In conjunction with Dr Ragbir Bhathal and the Campbelltown Rotary Observatory at WSU they invite guests and visitors to enjoy a night at The Domes. They encourage everyone to make use of this great facility and enjoy exploring the night sky. This event is weather permitting - visit Observatory website or contact the society for confirmation and times. Event commences usually half an hour after sunset. Gold coin donation entry Directions: The Observatory should only be approached via Goldsmith Avenue. Turn right at University Drive and drive up to Milky Way. Just follow the signs for the Macarthur Heights Sales Office, which is across the road from the Observatory. Accessibility: The Observatory is reached via a public stairway from Milky Way. People with disabilities are advised to contact the Society in advance at the email provided for information regarding accessibility to the site and potential use of the telescopes. Red torches only: If you choose to bring a torch, please avoid glare when near the telescopes by covering it with red cellophane. Thank you in advance.
