Gledswood Family Farm Days

Gledswood is an authentic Australian colonial farm from the 1800's. Spend a day at Gledswood for a true Aussie experience. The farm day activities start at 11am where you'll sit by the campfire enjoying a billy tea and damper listening to stories told by the stockman. Later, learn the history of Australian farming, see kelpies round up sheep for shearing, see the stockman as he shears the sheep, learn about how wool is classed and try your hand at boomerang throwing. The stockman will demonstrate how to crack a whip as he tells you of his travels across our great land. Following your day on the farm, drop into the cellar door for an Australian wine or boutique craft beer, or book into one of the Wine Tasting Masterclasses which are held at the cellar door. Due to the popularity of the event, pre-purchasing tickets online prior to the event is recommended. There is a maximum of 500 cars and once this is reached, the gates will be closed.
