Learn about seasonal native bush foods and medicines and discover their cultural uses with Shared Knowledge.
During this three hour program, you will discover the importance of traditional bush foods to the Aboriginal people and sample foods that can be found in the local area.
Learn about the traditional seasons and how they influence what is hunted and gathered. Taste traditional foods and flavours which, depending on the season, may include kangaroo, emu, quandong, wattle, finger-lime and salt bush.
This program includes a delicious three-course -tasting menu prepared by Aboriginal educators.
