Winter Cyclocross hosted by Western Sydney MTB Club

Come and have some fun at their Winter CX Event! Do you like to ride your bike, but find it hard in the winter months? Cyclo Cross is a fun format where you can ride any type of bike around a set course for a short period of 20 - 40 minutes. In 2019 they will host races at Sun Valley Pony Club in the Blue Mountains. The first race day will be on the Queens Birthday, Monday 10 June. The course will be mostly grass, some trail, some sand, some obstacles and quite possibly some mud. Of course bikes are meant for riding, but in CX you might find yourself running or carrying your bike as you try to clear the obstacles. There will be races for kids, novices, adults and elites. It is a safe off-road environment without cars. Even if you're just curious about this type of racing, come along and watch some seasoned athletes show their skills!
