Each year over 400 people jump into the crystal blue water of Tathra from the historic Tathra Wharf and swim to the beach in the Tathra Wharf to Waves Weekend in what has become one of the Sapphire Coast's premier events. The swim claims centre stage of a weekend of fun and fitness in Tathra, which includes a two kilometre Beach Fun Run and a Bega to the Beach 30 kilometre Mountain Bike Ride.
