About the Event
About
The city of Armidale will honour the legendary Australian film, "The Man From Snowy River" on Friday 11 October 2019, when a 75-piece orchestra will perform the entire soundtrack live with the movie. Special guests will be the film's composer, Mr Bruce Rowland and the male star of the film, Tom "The Man" Burlinson. At the conclusion of the film, Tom will sing an hour of Frank Sinatra classics with the orchestra from 9pm to 10pm!
This event will become a biennial one for Armidale, with a different Australian movie being honoured in 2021.
