DESCRIPTION:The Brigalow Arts Festival is an annual open art award proudly presented by the Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery. Held in October of each year\, the festival has been running for over 28 years. The Brigalow Arts Festival is the Banana Shire’s largest display of visual arts\, from youth\, emerging and established artists. \n\nThe display gives Banana Shire and Central Queensland artists the opportunity to display and sell their works\, and receive cash prizes and awards. The exhibition includes a variety of art forms including fine arts\, photography\, digital arts\, textiles\, sculpture and decorative arts.\n\nThe Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery is operated by the Banana Shire Council.
