DESCRIPTION:As a result of the current restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic\, the Sports Expo is unable to be held in its usual format at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre.\n\nThe annual event\, which is now in its 11th year\, has been transformed into an interactive online event for the whole month of February.\n\nA wide range of sporting organisations\, teams and active leisure groups are listed on the online portal\, to provide a ‘one stop information shop’ of get-active opportunities in our region. More than 30 clubs have also created free come and try events at various locations during February. For event details\, visit the council website at www.mackay.qld.gov.au/onlinesportexpo.\n\n\n	90+ sport and recreation exhibitors are available online\n	Watch eight active zone demonstration videos\n	30+ come and try days are available at local sport and recreation clubs for the month of February\n	There are also some great prizes up for grabs\, including a signed men's Big Bash 2008 squad cricket bat!\n\n
