DESCRIPTION:Blacksmithing Introduction Workshop\, one-day hands-on experience.\n\nCome spend a Saturday with them on this practical introduction to Blacksmithing\, and go home with your very own hand forged results to show for it!\n\nYou will experience shaping steel with hammer and fire\, as well as learn a bit about the forge\, anvil\, tools and techniques used in blacksmithing.\n\nIncluded:\nBlacksmithing overview: Tools\, processes\, safety briefing\nAll materials required (carbon steel\, hammers\, tongs\, anvil\, gas forge\, PPE)\nForging your own project(s) with hammer and anvil\nAll instructions and support required\n\nPlease note: This is not a knife making workshop but an introduction to blacksmithing and forging.\n\n Suitable For:\nAnyone over 16 years old with an interest in blacksmithing\nAnyone able to lift a one kilogram hammer over the head and hammer  'for a while' (they will help if you get tired).\n\nThe workshop will be held in the back yard of their location in Brookvale\, Northern Beaches Sydney. This is an industrial setting outside\, under roof with basic facilities.\n\nEntry Cost\nAdult $275  - Only suitable for Adults\, over 16 years of age due to tools and safety understanding required.\nThe cost for the one-day workshop is AUD300 or AUD275 if booking two or more.
