DESCRIPTION:Annually the Adamstown Business Group meets with the Ward 2 Councillors for the City of Newcastle.  Ward 2 encompassed the suburbs of Adamstown\, Merewether\, Bar Beach\, the Junction\, Broadmeadow and Hamilton.  A facilitated discussion is held over an hour.\n\nThe focus of this discussion is to establish a relationship with our Councillors and reinforce that our section of Newcastle matters along with aligning our priorities with those of the City of Newcastle.\n\nEstablishing and growing these relationships help ease communication with the City of Newcastle.  We become seen\, heard\, and thought about.  This get together can be used to raise specific issues\, but better than that\, it is a chance to know those who represent us in Council.  Do they share our views and values?  Here is your chance to find out.\n\nThe Cosmo Motel is providing finger food.  Drinks will be available at the bar.
