DESCRIPTION:In 2026\, the 30th Indigenous Nationals will be hosted by the University of Newcastle\, NSW in a week-long competition across the sports of basketball\, netball\, touch football and volleyball. \n\nThe annual event aims to bring together students from universities across Australia to compete in a variety of sports and ultimately crown one university team the champion of the games. \n\nIndigenous Nationals is an amazing environment to celebrate the rich sporting culture of First Nations People and acknowledge the heritage and history of the participating students and staff. \n\nFind out how to get involved by getting in touch with your university sport or Indigenous department.
