SUMMARY:Spoon Carving Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Come spend a Saturday with them and walk away not only with the experience\, but also a full set of spoon carving tools and a beautiful wooden spoon made with your own hands! \n\nCreating something as fundamentally human as a wooden spoon using simple hand tools can be a satisfying experience.\n\nThis guided workshop will take you through the process of selecting materials and the relaxing process of making your own wooden spoon. \n\nEvery third Saturday of the month or other days for groups of four or more.\n\nAfter a safety briefing you will receive tools and materials. \nThen they will spend a few hours slowly carving a spoon\, break for lunch before completing the spoon in the afternoon.\nThis is a small group event\, suitable for anyone over 16 years old.\n\nThey recommend closed-toe shoes and long pants on the day.\nThey are located in Brookvale\, a 12 minutes drive from Manly (or 15 minutes by bus plus four  minute walk).\n\n\n\nEntry Cost\nAdult $249  - Only suitable for Adults\, over 16 years of age due to use of sharp tools. \nWorkshop cost includes a full set of spoon carving tools to bring home as well as wood to make a serving spoon on the day.
