DESCRIPTION:Coastal Track and Trail Runners would like to invite you to the Elephant Trail Race. The 25-27 kilometres Mt Cairncross course\, with approximately 1455 metre elevation per lap. The race offers participants a choice of distances catering for both the novice and Ultra Distance Runner. Distances of 217 kilometre\, 160 kilometre\, 100 kilometre Solo\, 100 kilometre 3 Day Staged\, 75 kilometre 3 Day Staged\, 50 kilometre\, 25 kilometre\, 13 kilometre\,  5 kilometre and a free Kids Race 2.5 kilometre.\n\nElephant Trail Race attracts ITRA points for six of its eight races. 217 kilometre - Six Points\,  160 kilometre - Six Points\, 100 kilometre Solo - Five Points\, 50 kilometre - Three Points\, 25 kilometre - One Point.\n\nThe race is only a short distance from Port Macquarie\, Wauchope and Telegraph Point in the beautiful Hastings Area. All racing will take place in Cairncross State Forest. The Elephant Trail Race is in it's ninth year in 2026.\n\nYou will travel through the State Forest and NSW Crown Lands and land of the traditional owners\, the Birpai People.
