Sketching Al Fresco: Drawing Course

Join professional artist Steven Holland for an artistic exploration of the parks and streetscapes around Tuggeranong Arts Centre. Examining both natural and man-made environments, participants will be guided through the personal development of observational drawing.

Learn how to build a dynamic composition and try your hand capturing Tuggeranong scenes using charcoal, ink and graphite. Develop your works with colour using pencils, pastel, gouache and watercolour. Classes will explore various locations, moving on foot from the Tuggeranong Arts Centre to study and visually document the beauty of our local region.

This class will involve a lot of walking, and is not suitable for those who have limited walking capacity. It is suitable for both beginners and advanced artists who would like to draw and paint outdoors. All materials will be provided.
